Went to see how my exhibited paintings are doing. All's well, though it seems some kids like to make white fingerprints with modeling clay. They cleaned off well. No harm done. One week left to see them there!

Oedenrode and hang them. It always is of course.

A partial Eclipse

This morning on the radio I heard someone mention a "Double sunrise". That got me curious and I looked it up on the Internet. It turned out to be a partial eclipse at 8.48, so I went out to see it.

It looked too cloudy at first, but then the sun peeked through the clouds.

For once the word "Awesome" seemed fully appropriate! I tried to take some pictures through my welding goggles. Some even show the shape of the sun with moon shadow, but it cannot show what it really looked like.

Maybe it needs to be in a painting, but maybe that's a bit...
